I can’t believe I’m doing this again. Ladies and gentlemen, with the gracious help of Elia from Dziga Vertov Gruppe as my editor, I present to you a retranslation of R Shoku 2 -Captive Alice-. I’ll just cut straight to the point and let you guys download what I consider to be the best tentacle themed doujin I have read in a long time. Alice is captured and relentlessly raped by tentacles. That’s all you need to know to enjoy this piece. If you want to know why I did this project, just jump past the download links for my mini rant.
To be honest, I don’t know if this would really constitute as an actual retranslation. Perhaps more of an alternative translation. I bought this doujin as soon as it became available during Comiket and after reading it once, I thought that it would be something I’d like to work on. Since no scans were available at the time, I used my book as my source and scribbled down some translations on a notepad until I eventually had the whole book translated on paper. When the raws became available, I was already busy with other projects both on the scanlation and personal side of things, so this book sort of slipped my mind.
Eventually, Doujin-Moe produced their translation of this book which later got leaked to the public. At this point, I was planning to abandon the project since everyone can now experience this awesome book… that is until I took a gander at the translation. I won’t go into details, but it left much to be desired and I felt that whoever translated this book (Doujin-Moe doesn’t translate anything. They commission other people to do their work) didn’t do Kojima-sensei’s work justice. Since I already had my version in hand, I asked Elia for her assistance to produce what I consider to be a more accurate translation of this book. As a bonus, I even have the two pages of banter between Remilia and Pachouli translated as well to give some insight behind that weird tentacle creature.
That’s all I have to say for this project. I hope you guys will enjoy this rendition that Elia and I worked hard to create.
